teaching philosophy

All Second Language Learners are capable of succeeding in their new country with the appropriate tools and encouragement. Successful learning is educational practice that is positive and supportive, and primarily learner-focused and learner-driven. Curriculum should be adapted where appropriate to better meet the needs of students through ongoing constructive feedback.

Classroom learning must be innovative, highly engaging and relatable, utilizing a variety of digital and non-digital tools, activities and exercises that promote active processing and continuous learning in an inspirational manner. Successful learning happens in spaces that encourage authentic interpersonal connection and cultural sharing.

The classroom shouldn't be where adventure ends; it should be where it begins.
